About the Event

Step into a day of books, inspiration, and opportunity at “Read to Rise,” a community book fair and fundraiser dedicated to unlocking education access for children around the world.

This family-friendly event brings together book lovers, educators, volunteers, and supporters to help raise funds that provide school supplies, tuition aid, and learning centers for underprivileged children across Africa, Southeast Asia, and underserved local communities.

What to Expect

• New and pre-loved book stalls for all ages and genres

• Author readings and live storytelling corners

• Kids’ Literacy Lounge with games, crafts, and book giveaways

• Interactive workshops on creative writing and global education

• Donation stations to sponsor student kits and classroom tools

• Live performances, food vendors, and local art showcases

Your Support Builds Futures

Every dollar raised will go directly toward funding:

• $20: A school backpack with notebooks, pencils, and learning materials

• $100: One month of school tuition for a child in need

• $500: Books and resources for an entire classroom

You’ll also have the opportunity to sponsor a student or fund a mini-library in a remote village.
